General Practice Core Training Programme

Description

NHS Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (BNSSG ICB) ("The Commissioner") is seeking to commission a general practice core training Programme to General Practice Nurses (GPNs), Health Care Assistants (HCAs) Additional Role Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) roles and non-clinical staff (NCS) within the BNSSG ICB's georgical area. The main responsibilities include (but are not limited to): • To provide core training to the BNSSG General Practice workforce, in particular GPNs and non-clinical staff • To enable staff to develop their competencies and associated patient service provision • To maximise utilisation of the budget available and the number of staff able to participate • To provide an equitable, diverse, and inclusive training offer: considering blended learning, location, time of day etc. The contract will be for the duration of 12 months. The total value of the contract is £210,000, exclusive of VAT. The anticipated service commencement is in April 2024.
