East Devon District Council (EDDC) is commissioning a provider to deliver a programme of decarbonisation training and support for businesses and community organisations until March 2025. Support will be delivered which includes on-site carbon surveys, tailor-made carbon action plans, one-to-one support coordination, in-person and online workshops for businesses and community organisations in East Devon. An indicative sum of £207,000 has been allocated to this provision which includes support development costs and those associated with marketing to ensure sufficient support take up. £107,000 has been allocated for businesses and £100,000 has been allocated for community organisations. This programme is funded until March 2025 and so it is important that the Supplier appointed to this programme is able to mobilise quickly to ensure that support commences soon so there is as much time as possible to achieve the necessary outputs.
