Description

Main contractor Contract opportunity for the refurbishment works at High Peak Borough Council's heritage listed buildings in the Town centre of Glossop Derbyshire. The works are being undertaken as part of the redevelopment of the Indoor Market Hall, Retail Arcade, Town Hall and Municipal Buildings all connected in central area. External Funding through Get Building fund and investment by the Council total £7m investment in this project. The works are required to implement the designs currently being prepared to RIBA stage. High Peak Borough Council is looking for a suitably experienced and qualified main contractor that has specific heritage and listed building experience and expertise. The procurement will be in the form of a Restricted Procedure with a 'traditional construction' 2 stage ITT. Applicants are welcomed from suitable contractors for the Pre-qualification stage, the Council are aiming to select a minimum of 4 upto maximum of 6 contractors to invite to submit costs and quality submissions for the first stage of tender.
