VisitBritain/VisitEngland is the national tourist board, with a role of boosting Britain's appeal as a tourism destination, improving its ranking in the eyes of international leisure and business travellers and growing the value of the tourism economy by working in partnership with the industry and delivering inspirational marketing campaigns, driving visits and spend across the nations and regions of Britain. VisitBritain is responsible for marketing Britain worldwide and developing Britain's visitor economy and we work in partnership with the UK Government and other tourism bodies along with industry organisations both in the UK and overseas to market Britain in an inspirational and effective way. We work with the international travel trade and intermediaries to ensure that customers can easily book regional destinations. This activity features a programme of exhibitions and events, including our Destination Britain missions which are held in a number of key locations around the world where we take UK tourism suppliers and destination to markets to meet and do business with local buyers and suppliers. VisitBritain invited tenders for an Events Management Companies for the planning and delivery of Destination Britain-China 2023 being held in China in November 2023.
