Kent CC HTMC - Road Marking and High Friction Surfacing works

Description

We are currently working on the Kent Council Highways Services Contract and would be pleased to receive your quotation and capability statement for undertaking the road marking and high friction surfacing works for this contract, all in accordance with the attached documentation. This enquiry is for a new 32 month contract commencing on 1st September 2023. We are looking for tenderers to quote the attached SoR include all labour, plant, equipment, materials, disposal, overheads and profit etc on the basis of fixed rates until 1st April 2024. Rates are to be inclusive of all materials which are to be purchased directly by yourselves. The provision of Chapter 8 signage should also be included within your rates, all other TM will be provided by Amey. Kent Lane Rental Charges should be excluded from your rates, this will be covered by Kent CC. Permitting will be undertaken by Amey, however any charges or fines relating to permitting will be passed on to the subcontractor (if at fault) in line with the attached permitting schedule. Please note that there will also be performance measures included as part of this contract as detailed in the OPM schedule enclosed. We request that you submit your rates by completing the Pricing Schedule attached and return via email in Excel format to amanda.felstead@amey.co.uk by midday on Tuesday 29th August 2023. As part of your submission, please submit a capability statement covering the areas listed on the 'supply chain requirements' document attached and advise of any added value that you will bring to the contract. Please note that these documents will be taken into consideration during the evaluation of supply chain pricing submissions. Note: It is a mandatory requirement for all supply chain partners working for Amey to hold Constructionline Gold. Additional information: • All staff working on or visiting the site are to hold suitable industry standard accreditation such as CSCS cards and any other requirement as may be stipulated by the Principal Contractor through their tender documentation • Any resources used by the supplier must be PAYE employees of the Supplier, any non-PAYE employees will be subject to an IR35 test (to be paid for by the supplier) • All suppliers must have Constructionline Gold standard
