To support preparation of a full update to the Breckland Local Plan, Breckland District Council is commissioning a level 1 Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) and secondly, a Water Cycle Study (WCS). The SFRA will inform the Council and local stakeholder organisations about the current and future flood risk and the requirements upon development in Breckland to avoid and mitigate flood risk and to assess the constraints and requirements that will arise from potential growth on the water infrastructure.
