The scope of this work is a significant upgrade and reconfiguration of the solvent vapour extraction system across two labs which share a common extract system. The labs are operational and contain an existing solvent extraction system and a dust extraction system. The work will involve reconfiguring and upgrading the solvent extraction within the labs and outside plant decks without impacting significantly on a pre-existing dust extraction system. CPI has two operational labs (Fallow 3 and 4) which share a solvent vapour extraction system, and each lab also contains two independent dust extraction systems (and associated make up air etc). The labs are first floor with an external plant deck. The labs and building are rented from Durham County Council.
