Expressions of Interest for APMS Services for West Birmingham area

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) on behalf of Birmingham and Solihull (ICB) (The Commissioner) would like to notify the market of a potential new opportunity to deliver APMS Services for the West Birmingham area.<br/><br/>Expressions of Interest are sought from providers, who would be able to introduce a multidisciplinary workforce of clinicians but must not deplete from the existing capacity in the area. The provider will also be required to deliver core Primary Care and associated prevention, protection and wellbeing services to meet the needs of the local resident population. <br/><br/>The Commissioner is keen to explore the opportunity for APMS/GMS providers to combine core primary care approaches with wider community partners offers in support of improved health outcomes and associated wider benefits to the local community. Community approaches developed with communities and a focus on the wider determinants of health and improved user experience is sought. Innovation and a commitment to working with the local population to meet a range of priority needs is deemed essential.<br/><br/>Please note the deadline for expressions of interest is 12.00pm on 8th August 2023.
