GB-London: Profit-making and financial risk in independent children's social care placements

Between 2020 and 2022, Revolution Consulting has published research for the Local Government Association on profit-making and financial risk in the largest providers of independent children's social care placements. The LGA has received positive feedback from across the sector on this research and it is regularly referred to in discussions around placement sufficiency and the placement 'market'. Local authorities via the LGA's children's social care commissioning and procurement group have requested further updates to the financial information within the report to support their commissioning of placements. We require an update report to this research Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
