Bus Driver training as part of Merseytravel Sector Based Work Academy (SBWA)

Description

Merseytravel is seeking to appoint a Training Provider (TP) to deliver the PCV licence and Driver CPC training under the Merseytravel Sector Based Work Academy (SBWA) model. Merseytravel is looking to hold up to 6 SBWA sessions between January 2018 and August 2018 which will train approximately 6-12 jobseekers per session. The TP will also be responsible for the Driving Assessment and the Medicals required for the provisional PCV licence. TP will be responsible for training in preparation for trainee's theory and practical Driving and CPC tests. The TP will also book all tests and re-tests required to enable the trainees to gain their PCV Licence and Driver CPC. The TP must work in partnership and choose a Pre-employment Training Partner to deliver Level 2 award in knowledge for a professional bus driver Please note unable to link to original notice.
