Sefton Council ("the Council") are seeking to establish a programme of Council housing to help address the housing needs of Sefton to increase the delivery of affordable housing across the borough. All homes will be expected to have features contributing to Sefton Council's climate emergency declaration and strategy with principles of strong energy efficiency to help support this and help address fuel poverty and the level of energy costs within Council properties. The tenure of homes will include for social and affordable rent as well as the option of including shared ownership into the programme. The first of the Council's new homes are being developed by the Council's wholly owned development company Sandway Homes Ltd as part of their mixed tenure housing development at Buckley Hill Lane, Netherton and are anticipated to handover in early 2024. The Council wish to appoint a partner organisation to act as Management Agent for a total period of 5 years to manage the first of the Council's new homes and any new homes that are introduced as part of the programme over the management agreement lifecycle.
