Invitation To Tender (C0223a): London Councils Aspiring Chief Executive Programme - Development, Management and Facilitation. London Councils is the collective of Local Government in London. Where shared ambitions are developed, agreed, championed, and delivered at London Councils by members working together. Where boroughs speak as one and collaborate with the government, the Mayor of London, the London public sector, the third sector, business, and other key UK and international cities. The Chief Executive London Committee (CELC) have emphasised the need to ensure that there is a pipeline of chief executives of the future that have the tools and techniques to do their jobs confidently and to lead their organisations effectively. The development of an 'Aspiring Chief Executive' programme is to provide specific support for those at Director or Executive Director level thinking about making that final step to becoming a chief executive, ensuring London continues to develop its own talent, and that those becoming chief officers are equipped with the skills they need. The programme should help participants understand the unique challenges of the role and help them to develop the diverse skills required to lead organisations in a challenging and uncertain future. London Councils is looking to appoint a contractor to develop an Aspiring Chief Executives programme and deliver two pilot cohorts in 2023/24. Bids may be submitted at higher or lower costs than this value but should be clearly costed as per the tender instructions. Responses to queries will be collated and the query log will be uploaded here within 1 working day where possible.
