Luminate Education Group - Mabgate Unit 7 Refurbishment - AWARD

Description

The works are in support of the pending works known locally as 'Unit 7 - Art studio refurbishment' is part of a wider masterplan for the re-development of the entire Mabgate site. 2.2 The project involves the refurbishment of an empty disused warehouse unit as demonstrated in the clients scope information (Schedule 2 - Clients Scope). Work includes the removal of some items on site as proposed in the demolition plan. The refurbishment mainly involves the installation of Mechanical and Electrical services to connect the unit to existing supplies and services. The works involve the creation of toilet and storage areas and the installation of sanitaryware to create toilet and welfare facilities to make the unit a self-sufficient space for students to work. The last element of the works is to install partition walls to section off the space and finally decoration.
