Description

We are notifying suppliers of Digital Strategy and Implementation Services of an engagement opportunity to help us set up and drive the Digital Agile DevSecOps transformation office within National Grid Electricity System Operator (ESO) - Digital, Data and Technology. We are looking for a strategic partner who can support our ambition to become an agile digital organisation. The scope of the engagement will encompass all aspects of organisational transformation workstreams; broadly categorized into People, Process, and Tools. Broadly, the partner(s) will help us identify the transformation workstreams, intervention areas, and implementation plan; continuously adjust the plan as per feedback & learning, and execute the plan to drive the shift towards Agile. At a high level, the strategic partners will be assessed on the depth of their experience and competency in these types of engagements and their ability to work in a multi-supplier team. The chosen supplier(s) will enter into an outcome/KPI-driven contract agreement. Whilst we will not specify the resources, we reserve the right to request a mix of resources during the course of the engagement. During the planning and execution phases, the partner(s) will collaborate with existing partners in the ecosystem. We reserve the right to select multiple partners (3 maximum) and the scope assigned. We are reaching out to experienced partners outside of the ADAM and GMC frameworks, as this engagement does not focus on application development (AD), application maintenance (AM), or business management consultation (GMC). Resources will be required to work out of National Grid's UK offices. The estimated value for this engagement is 3-5 million GBP spread across multiple years and potentially multiple suppliers.
