GB-Watford: Economic Development - Supporting Businesses on their Decarbonisation Programme

NOTE: This notice was updated on 23 January 2023 for the following reason: Dates amended - Check to publish in Contracts Finder(Expressions of Interest are sought for consultancy support to provide businesses in Watford on their decarbonisation journey and to develop the knowledge, skills and tools to develop environmentally sustainable business practices and prepare themselves for the need to operate on a net zero carbon basis in the future. We are commissioning 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 together for this project. Please indicate if you would like to be considered for programme 1 or programme 2 or both. Please also specify if you would also be interested in delivering these projects in year three. Research suggests that many businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises have not yet made any plans or taken any action to decarbonise their business and that on-going expert support (rather than one-off interventions) will help them to start and progress their decarbonisation journeys. We are commissioning two programmes of support; the two programmes will deliver advice and support to help businesses with 0-100 employees to lower their carbon footprint and reduce costs. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
