Moat currently uses a variety of methods for the delivery of a range of services delivered in and around customer homes relating to Grounds Maintenance, Gardening, Communal Cleaning, Window Cleaning, Arboriculture and Pest Control. The total spent on these services in 2021/22 was in excess of £2.5m. These services are collectively referred to as 'Estate Services'. The services currently being delivered under this contract are critical service delivery requirements for Moat, with a large number of our customers receiving two or more of these services. Additional services are provided in relation to the management of bulky waste and fly-tipping. These are currently excluded from the scope of this soft market testing exercise. Moat is working with echelon Consultancy to undertake a detailed scoping exercise to inform its future procurement strategy for the delivery of Estate Services.
