The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub (EOECPH) is issuing this Invitation to Tender ("ITT") to invite Suppliers to bid for a Framework Agreement for Provision of Vehicle Insurance for NHS Ambulance Services. EoECPH is working collaboratively on behalf of the National Ambulance Procurement Board on this procurement with an aim of providing a procurement compliant route to market for UK participating Ambulance Services wishing to procure for the provision of motor insurance for operational (blue light) and non-operational vehicles to commence 1 April 2023. We are only seeking bids from insurers or managing agents acting on behalf of specific insurers, not brokers or equivalents. The Authorities are procuring a single supplier Framework Agreement. The Framework awarded will have an initial framework duration of 3 years with the option to extend framework duration by 1 year. The following benefits will be delivered: • Providing a procurement compliant route to market for UK Ambulance Services; • Provide a competitive and fit for purpose Framework Agreement. • Provide opportunities and associated benefits from aggregating spend and standardising terms; • Pool and reduce risk across Ambulance Services; • Support risk / accident reduction and share best practise; • Drive cash releasing savings for reinvestment in front line services; • Professionally managing the procurement and any resulting Framework Agreement / Call Off Contracts. The primary beneficiaries of the framework will be United Kingdom ambulance services as detailed below: • South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust • South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust • South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust • London Ambulance Service NHS Trust • East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust • East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust • Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust • North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust • North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust • West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust • Scottish Ambulance Service Board The Contracting Authority intends to use an e-Procurement Portal in this procurement exercise. https://atamis-1928.1ightning.force.com/ Deadline for submission of bids is 16 December 2022 at 17.00hrs.
