Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership (MVRP) is commissioning for Service(s) over 15-months (optional contract extension of further 12 months) to provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions using a whole family approach. 'Whole family' therapeutic approaches means that family members are clinically triaged for their individual needs, but interventions are co-ordinated/concurrently delivered. This Service specification for tender has been designed to respond to the needs of children, young people and families from across Merseyside, as identified by them. There is clear need for earlier mental health and wellbeing support for families right across Merseyside and so this tender is open to applications from all boroughs equally. There is a maximum budget of £1.2 million per borough to reach a minimum number of 200 families per borough/programme. We advise bidders to seek funding only for what they require/can deliver in the timeframe. The Service(s) should take a primary or secondary / early intervention and prevention approach, receiving referrals from a combination of community/non-statutory and statutory services. This is not a crisis intervention service(s). The Service(s) will be community-based in Merseyside and will need to evidence cultural intelligence/competence to best meet the needs of the community, addressing inequality of access to mental health and wellbeing support. It aims to support recovery from trauma/adversity and build resilience to reduce vulnerabilities of children and young people from experiencing violence. Bidders will need to evidence social value. MVRP are looking for Provider(s) who are equipped to mobilise quickly to explore this early intervention, whole family approac
