he Borough Council of Bolton ("the Authority") recieved tenders for Voluntary Sector Infrastructure Support which were subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed. Bolton has a large and diverse Voluntary and Community Sector (VCSE) which adds huge value to the borough's quality of life and that of its residents. An eco-system made up of over 1,600 groups and organisations of all types and sizes, reaching deep into Bolton's communities. The VCSE sector also plays a crucial part in supporting Bolton achieve its aspirations, as outlined in Bolton2030 as our partnership long-term vision for the borough. Bolton2030 was co-developed by key partners, including those in the VCSE. The rationale for commissioning an infrastructure support partner with the capacity and capability to support and develop VCSE locally, was firmly established as we delivered Aspiring and Achieving, Bolton's VCSE Strategy 2019-2021. The Authority's continued commissioning of an infrastructure partner (the "Provider") demonstrates our ongoing commitment to supporting a strong and capable VCSE that will help to deliver Bolton 2030 outcomes.
