Earlier notices predate the Procurement Act 2023 (commenced 24 Feb 2025) and therefore don't carry UK1–UK17 codes.
Forestry & Land Scotland (FLS) undertakes ground preparation on Scotland’s National Forest and Land (SNFL) to establish new tree crops, maintaining the volume of timber brought to market and enabling woodland creation. The aim of this contract is to provide ground preparation and mechanised establishment and tending services to a high quality, in a safe, sustainable and cost effective manner. FLS also deliver a programme of Peatland restoration services. Small elements of peatland works on areas that are parts of coupes may be required over the contract term. Peatlands are found in both the lowlands and the uplands. The size and location of peatland varies according to geology, terrain and climate.
