This is ERDF funded. Equinity Technology works to provide horse owners with the ability to monitor various outputs that enable owners to understand the horse's health and performance in detail. The British Equestrian Trade Association's National Equestrian Survey 2019 highlights new spending patterns and changing trends over the past five years and supports further investment into wearable technological aids. Equinity would like to develop a conductive electrode harness which is suitable for use with existing human heart rate monitors and fits existing girth straps and be specific for the equine anatomy. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
