The Plumley depot was built in the 1950's and therefore has aging infrastructure. Currently the sewage system from the Plumley site office utilises a septic tank system. This discharges via pipes/ ditches and the site interceptor, eventually to the Peover Eye river off site. In order for the site to remain legally compliant in terms of discharges, there is a requirement to upgrade the sewage system at Plumley to a treatment plant that complies with modern standards. There is no requirement for any work at the CoGH site. There is an urgent requirement to fit this new system as soon as possible. Please refer to RFQ documents. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
