WDC - National Bowls Car Park Management, road closure, stewarding and security

Tenders are invited for the supply of National Bowls, Car Park Management, Road Closure, Stewarding & Security. Victoria Park plays host to the annual Bowls England National Championships, for both men and women. The championships run for 18 consecutive days of competitive play at the venue which offers a complex of five international standard flat rink bowling greens, bowls pavilion, tournament office, café, trader's marquee and on-site car parking. The majority of competitors and spectators arrive by car with the main event parking being on site at Victoria Park. The staff who greet drivers, charge them the correct fees and direct them to park will be the first interaction with the event for many and therefore an opportunity to create a lasting positive first impression. In order to achieve this in the most professional and cost-effective manner the council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced contractors specializing in event parking, traffic management and event security. The contract will be for a period of Three [3] years commencing 18/07/2022, With a further option to extend for a period of 2 years.
