The government have provided grant funding to the Council to carry out property flood resilience works to properties that have experienced flooding in and around Horbury Bridge, within the Wakefield District. The Council has commissioned a consultant to carry out property surveys at each of the properties and produce individual reports, recommending specific resilience measures in a bill of quantities. The Council now requires the services of a qualified contractor to install the recommended measures that have been agreed with the residents.
