Rocks Green is a housing estate in Ludlow which is owned and managed by Connexus Homes Limited (Connexus). The estate has an Energy Centre which is connected to a district heating main. The district heating main supplies hot water to 91 properties at Rocks Green, SY8 2BF. The hot water is used for underfloor heating and domestic hot water in the 91 properties. The energy centre has a heat meter logging the output of it. Each property has a heat meter which monitors energy use for the residents and is used for RHI purposes. The systems in the 91 properties have just been changed with new heat interface units (HIU's) being installed and upgrades made to the systems to make them more efficient. A new meter has also been installed in each property. In addition, a significant quantity of maintenance and improvements have been carried out during 2021 to improve the system and get it working correctly. This tender is seeking a company to take over the running of the Rocks Green Energy Centre and residential heat interface units which will allow Connexus to carry out their core function.
