Subject to funding confirmation, ARK Group DMCC intends to procure modular, rapid-deployment defensive barrier systems with collapsible wire mesh containers lined with heavy-duty geotextile fabric. These barriers must be suitable for filling with sand, soil, or gravel and protect against blasts, shrapnel, and small-arms fire. However, due to operational urgency, all goods must be delivered to the Port of Beirut no later than 25 March 2025 under Incoterms DPU. Immediate supplier readiness is essential. The contract will be awarded based on the most economically advantageous tender, considering: • Total cost, including shipping and handling fees • Compliance with technical and military-grade specifications • Supplier experience and operational capability Given the urgent nature of this procurement and ARK's limited capacity to conduct quality checks and supplier visits within the current timeframe, preference will be given to suppliers who have previously been contracted to provide the same items to the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD). Firms that have supplied NATO forces may also be considered, depending on the number of responses received. PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS The defensive barrier systems must meet the following specifications: • All items must be codified with NATO Stock Numbers (NSNs). • Galvanised steel wire mesh with heavy-duty geotextile fabric lining • Collapsible and suitable for rapid deployment • Modular design allowing interconnection for continuous defensive walls • Suitable for perimeter fortifications, blast walls, and protective barriers • All materials must meet BS or EN standards. EXPECTED QUANTITIES • Mil 1 or equivalent x 96 units • Mil 2 or equivalent x 368 units • Mil 7 or equivalent 40 units SUPPLIER QUALIFICATION AND COMPLIANCE Interested suppliers must submit an expression of interest (EOI) via email to procurement@arkgroupdmcc.com. If your company has not previously engaged with ARK, your submission must include company details and confirmation that you meet the following criteria: • Only Tier 1 manufacturers should apply. No resellers or agents will be considered. • Must hold ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management or an equivalent certification from a nationally accredited body. • Must have demonstrable experience supplying the UK Ministry of Defence or other NATO forces. • Must be able to deliver all items to the Port of Beirut by or before 25 March 2025 under Incoterms DPU. ARK Group DMCC reserves the right to modify or withdraw this procurement process at any stage without obligation or compensation to bidders. Additional information: Suppliers meeting the above criteria are encouraged to submit EOIs promptly. Only pre-qualified suppliers will be invited to participate in the formal tendering process. Please do not send price quotations at this stage. Further details will be shared with shortlisted suppliers. For further inquiries, please contact procurement@arkgroupdmcc.com.
