Oldbury High-Rise Repair Works

West Midlands Fire Service (WMFS) are seeking expressions of interest from suppliers.  The project is to carry out various repairs to the high-rise training facility located at Oldbury Community Fire Station.  The works are split into 3 categories/ priorities (1,2 and 3). The works will briefly comprise of:  Main roof preparation and treatment; mechanical hoist replacement; fabrication and replacement of door handles and hinges; replacement of damaged metal profile sheeting to the elevations; installing refractory tiles (supplied by WMFS); replacement of structural members; replacement of rainwater goods; replacement of fan housings; jet washing structure etc.  This is an early engagement exercise for WMFS to gain an understanding of what works can be completed for the allocated budget and the timeframe required to complete the work. As this project is in its early stages, there is no guarantee, at this stage, of a contract being awarded.
