DDPT025 Concession for Operation of a Children's Funfair at Matlock Bath Illuminations

Derbyshire Dales District Council (The Council) is seeking a concessionaire to provide and operate a safe, welcoming and friendly children's funfair every Saturday and Sunday during the period of the Matlock Bath Illuminations which takes place annually during September and October. The 2024 event dates are 7 September to 27 October. The event dates for the subsequent years shall be provided to the concessionaire at a later date.\r \r Matlock Bath Illuminations is a family event which operates in Derwent Gardens located in Matlock Bath, the event sells approximately 45,000 tickets during the season (dependant on weather conditions), with a maximum capacity of 4500 per evening. \r \r This contract is being let as a concession arrangement, for which the Concessionaire shall offer a fixed concession fee to the Council as part of the tender response.\r \r The initial contract period is 3 years and 3 months; the contract is estimated to commence 19 August 2024 and expire 7 November 2027.\r \r There will be an option to extend the contract for 2 years in annual increments, subject to satisfactory performance and business needs. \r Additional information: The procurement is being managed electronically, using the councils e-tendering system, please select the link above which will transfer you to the Council's e-tendering system where you can register your interest and access the documents.The council will only accept expressions of interest through the e-tendering system.
