Asphalt Surfacing Works

Description

The principal aim of the procurement process is to appoint one supplier for both ODSL & ODST (together "ODS") who will deliver both financial and efficiency benefits. ODS is seeking a working relationship with an asphalt surfacing contractor to work alongside us on projects in our pipeline. Projects will be dealt with on an individual basis and as such ODS cannot guarantee volumes and/or values of work. 1. The Works comprise of asphalt surfacing and material supply for works on the highway or private land. 2. The works will include machine lay asphalt surfacing and the supply of tarmac to Cowley Marsh Depot. 3. Traffic Management to be provided by the Contractor unless informed otherwise. 4. Road markings will be replaced by others. 5. From time to time, night working will be required. For the purpose of this contract night working will be defined as the period between 19:00 and 07:00 hours. 6. There is no guarantee of the volume of work required across the Term of this Contract. 7. All Works are to be constructed to British Standards as set out in Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB).
