COMMAND LEARNING RELOCATION

Description

The project is to carry out adjustments to the ground floor area at Fire Service Headquarters to create a command learning training center to replace the current training facility located at the WMFS Command Development Centre at Smethwick. The new facility will provide an enhanced training experience for West Midlands Fire Service staff and other agencies. The works will briefly comprise of :- strip out works; new partitions; acoustic works to new and existing partitions and above suspended ceilings; new internal fire doors, frames and over panels to match existing; install of oak skirtings and architraves to match existing; electrical and data works to reposition floor boxes and provide small power socket outlets; design and install new LED luminaries system to replace existing; mechanical works to provide air handling, heating and cooling; extension of existing sprinkler system; extension to fire alarm system; replacement of carpet tiles; supply and install of specialist audio and visual equipment for the training rooms; design and build of bespoke realistic training areas i.e. inside of our Incident Command Vehicle and Pump Response Ladder; painting and decorating to new walls; O&M manuals and client training on all new systems.
