Foxton Parish Council (FPC). Foxton is a small, historic village laying seven miles (11 kilometres) south west of Cambridge. The parish area covers some 710 hectares and is predominantly rural agricultural land. It occupies low-lying chalk lands, bounded by the river Rhee (Cam), to the north-west, Hoffer Brook to the north-east and by an ancient road running north-east from Fowlmere to Newton (now the B1368). FPC are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to carry out Upgrading and Improvement To Foxton Playground as set out in the procurement documents. The location of the works is Foxton Recreation Ground, Hardman Road, Foxton, Cambridgeshire CB22 6RN. There is no intention to create a legal relationship between SCDC as this is purely to enable Foxton Parish Council to make use of SCDC's electronic portal to carry out Foxton Parish Council's procurement exercise. Any resulting contract will be between the successful supplier and Foxton Parish Council.
