The Council's requirement under this Contract is for Cloud and On-premises solution for disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements. In summary: 1. To provide backup as a service o Capability to provide continued or scheduled backups for data protection o Immutable backup protection o Insider Protection o Encryption at rest and in transit 2. Disaster Recovery as a service o Provision to restore and host 100% of virtual server environment to match or exceed the performance of Thurrock's network o Provide private cloud compute to run a number of Active-Active services 3. Provide physical rackspace for potential hardware i.e. Physical firewalls. 4. Provide a private cloud for core Active-Active services. 5. Provide a Sandbox environment and support services for Bi-annual BCP testing (4-week event twice a year). Additional information: Thurrock Council uses In-tend for all its tendering activity.
