This Preliminary Market Consultation (PMC) has been published to inform the market of an impending exercise to engage with system providers to assist Sheffield Hallam University in understanding the market's capability for meeting its objectives and outcomes in respect of a modern, comprehensive and integrated approach to research and innovation management. This is the market's opportunity to explain how the University's stated objectives and outcomes might be best achieved. It is important to note that a PMC is not a call for competition/procurement exercise. Following PMC, the university may decide that a procurement is not the best solution to achieve its required outcomes. It is essential that any organisation participating in the PMC understands that a procurement opportunity is not guaranteed and that its participation is undertaken at its own risk and cost.
