Walthamstow School for Girls is an Ofsted rated Outstanding single sex Girls Secondary School in the London Borough of Walthamstow. It has 898 students between the ages of 11 and 16 on roll and 120 teaching and support staff. A number of staff in the catering team have LGPS pension schemes. There is one busy main restaurant with a modern, well equipped kitchen and there is also scope for an additional serving area in a POD or a nearby location. The incumbent caterer is Olive Dining. The school continues to forge a bright new future for the girls at the school under the leadership of the Headteacher, Helen Marriott. The School Business Manager, Romi Jalil is developing the services to reflect the high aspirations of the Headteacher and SLT; he is tendering their catering services to deliver the very best service for every student at the school. The contract start date is the 1st of September 2023 and this will be for an initial three-year period. There is an option for both parties to extend the contract for a further two years subject to client satisfaction and client agreement on budgets and service levels.
