Housing First Tenancy Support and Sustainment Service

Description

The Council is tendering a contract for Housing First Tenancy Support and Sustainment Service This service has been developed following a review of the homelessness services in West Berkshire. This identified a need for a person-centred housing support service for entrenched rough sleepers with multiple and complex needs. This provision enables the council to meet its strategic priorities around homelessness and rough sleeping. The service will be required to develop excellent partnership and joint working arrangements with relevant agencies within West Berkshire to deliver positive outcomes for both rough sleepers and those at risk of rough sleeping. The successful provider of the support provision is not expected to supply the housing solution. Housing and support are expected to be separated under this model.
