The Provision of IT and General Internal Audit Services

Description

The Council, through its IAM, requires a cost effective and quality computer audit service to be delivered that will complement the services that are already being provided by in-house internal audit staff. A key objective of the contract is to secure an integrated service between the successful Contractor and the in-house internal audit team.   The Council requires its internal audit service to both seek continuous improvements in the way it delivers its services and be considered by its peers as at the 'leading edge' of service delivery. The Council envisages that a relationship will develop with the Contractor that will enable the in-house audit team (and any shared internal audit service) to learn from the contractor and improve the quality of its services.
