Description

The objective of the of the project is to remodel and refurbish 8 classrooms and associated areas to increase the number of dedicated IT classrooms, whilst maintain DT and Prep Room provision. Creation of fire compartments and protected escape routes using fire rated demountable partitions is a key element of the project. The scheme incorporates mechanical and electrical works and modifications to existing installations, especially wet heating system flow and return pipes. New suspended ceilings, lights, split pack air conditioning, floor coverings, fire doors are also included within the scope of the scheme. The existing fire and intruder alarms will require modifying in-line with the new layout and existing elements relocated or new installed. This will involve liaison with current providers.
