The University administers around 300 active patent cases, including instructing renewals to maintain those cases in around 32 Counties. These patent cases require to be renewed in each territory on a regular basis with an estimated 120 renewals required annually. The University requires a supplier that can do this competently; has an interface/portal that is easy for the team to interact with; and is cost-effective. The portal will provide a platform for the University to gain information on the status of their current patents and trademarks and will be updated regularly by the supplier according to the status of the renewal. A sole supplier is required to provide this renewals service.
