IBM Power and Storage requirements

The Student Loans Company Limited (SLC) are seeking Expressions of Interest with regards to the provision of : • Lot A - IBM Storage • Lot B - IBM Power IBM Storage and Power products. All potential suppliers are required to complete the questionnaire enclosed on the following DeltaEsourcing link. It shall be the suppliers responsibility to gain access to this portal. https://www.delta-esourcing.com/delta/buyers/select/viewListStatus.html?id=962759615 IBM Storage • 6x IBM FlashSystem 9500s with 20x 19.2Tb FCM4 disks per enclosure • 32Gb Fibre Cards • Storage Encryption Key plus offsite Cloud Store (IBM SGDKLM) • Copy Data Manager (CDM) for Orchestration (5 years) • Predatar Clean Room for 5 years • MFA - IBM security Verify / Duo Security (and purchase capability for existing SAN Switches too) • 5 years Maintenance • 15 days Expert Lab Services for setup and installation • IBM Storage Expert Care Premium - 5 years IBM Power • The required solution will be for either Enterprise servers (e.g. E1080) or Midrange (e.g. E1050). • SLC will be looking to procure the most current generation of Power available at the time of tendering. Maintenance agreements shall also be included. The list of items above is not exact and may alter at the time of any proposed tender activity.
