Raunds Town Council invites tenders for the supply of gas and electricity to its operational properties, in preparation for the expiry of its current energy contract on 30th September 2025. The new contract will begin on 1st October 2025 and will cover all sites managed by the Council. The Council seeks a reliable and competitively priced energy supplier offering a fixed-term contract of up to three years, inclusive of all standing charges and unit rates for both gas and electricity. To ensure consistency in evaluation, all quotations must be completed using the pricing template provided in Appendix 3. Submissions that do not follow this format may be excluded from consideration. Key Details: Contract Start Date: 1st October 2025 Contract Term: Up to 36 months (to be proposed by the supplier) Current Contract End Date: 30th September 2025 Tender Opens: 1st August 2025 Submission Deadline: 12:00 noon, 1st September 2025 Expected Decision Date: 9th September 2025 Tender Requirements: Bidders must provide: A completed quotation using the template in Appendix 3 Tariff details, contract length, and terms & conditions Proof of registration and relevant supply licenses Billing frequency and payment terms A dedicated contact for contract and service queries Evidence of experience supplying the public sector or similar clients While a renewable energy option is not a mandatory requirement, the Council welcomes submissions that include renewable or low-carbon energy as part of the supplier's standard offer.
