Hertfordshire County Council are seeking quotations for the Provision of Works comprising the Design and Installation of Natural Flood Management and Sustainable Drainage Systems at the Pix Brook in Hertfordshire. This invitation to quote is focused on Work Package 2 - SuDS, NFM and Flow Controls, also known as 'Slow the Flow'. ResilienTogether is a DEFRA-funded innovation initiative in the Pix Brook Catchment, through the Flood and Coastal Resilience Innovation Programme (FCRIP). It is led by Central Bedfordshire Council in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council. The project focuses on reducing flood risk from, and improving water quality of, the Pix Brook, which flows north through Letchworth Garden City in North Hertfordshire, and Stotfold and Arlesey in Central Bedfordshire (figure 1).
