The Contracting Authority is seeking to establish a multi-supplier Framework Agreement for the provision of works call-off and servicing. The Framework will support planned and reactive maintenance, minor works and associated services. It is intended to provide a flexible, efficient and compliant route to market for the delivery of works and services across multiple sites. The framework is intended to focus on works and servicing for Electrical, Flooring and Drainage works. Simply Service Limited (a wholly owned subsidiary of Somerset NHS Foundation Trust) will act as the Lead Authority for this procurement process. While it is expected that the majority of the services will be delivered at Yeovil District Hospital, the resulting framework agreement is likely to be accessible for use by all hospitals within Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, as well as by Somerset Council. Due to the nature of a framework agreement, the Participating Authorities will be unable to guarantee any specific volumes of work or levels of expenditure over the duration of the contract. Although it is anticipated that the framework will serve as the primary route for procuring the relevant services, the Authorities expressly reserve the right to source these services through alternative procurement methods if deemed necessary. Each lot is expected to be limited to a maximum of three or four suppliers, although this will be confirmed in the subsequent tender notice.
