DRS is undertaking a strategic transformation of its rail fleet and asset management system in anticipation of the Maximo contract ending in November 2026. The current system, Maximo 7.6, is underutilised, with less than 20% of its functionality actively used and it presents ongoing challenges. As part of this process, we are hosting a Supplier Engagement Day on Monday, 27th October. To be invited, suppliers must complete the engagement form attached or contact us through the Atamis portal. The project aims to select and implement a modern, fit-for-purpose, off-the-shelf solution by October 2026. This system will enhance user experience, improve integration with the wider digital ecosystem, reduce operational and support costs, and unlock greater value from asset data. The vision is to operate with an intuitive, scalable solution that serves as a single source of truth for all maintenance records and activities, enabling better decision-making, improved compliance, and enhanced operational performance. This transformation will support operational excellence, flexibility, scalability, and long-term sustainability across DRS’s rail operations
