BCU currently commissions the Urgent Medicine Service from nine community pharmacy hubs to improve access to palliative and urgent medicines. The current provision is limited on a Sunday. BCU are seeking to commission an additional community pharmacy to provide the Urgent Medicine Service on a Sunday to improve patient access.
