Preliminary Market Engagement Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) In North East Lincolnshire

The Authority is seeking to appoint a new delivery partner for the continuation of the Phone 'n' Ride Service from 1 October 2026 for period of up to three years. The Authority is keen to consider what other options might be open to it. The purpose of this pre market engagement is to seek views from the market regarding what it considers might be alternative solutions to deliver the Phone 'n' Ride demand responsive transport (DRT) services. The Authority is open to alternative delivery options and isn't committed to the current way or working, providing the desired outcomes continue whilst providing value for money. The Authority has identified the following service objectives for the ongoing provision of the service. • Focus on service provisions for those local residents who do not have access to mainstream bus services. • Focus on improving access to education, training and employment opportunities. • Investigate operating models and potential efficiencies that support the long-term sustainability of the service. • Increase patronage amongst fare paying passengers.
