T22-147BUS Supply of Traffic Management for Events 2023-26

Description

Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) invites tenders from suitably experienced organisations for the provision of Traffic Management at our events. Derry City and Strabane District Council has established a public outdoor events programme for 2023 – 2026, which includes a number of major events throughout the year such as; • Strabane/Lifford Half Marathon • Foyle Maritime Festival-Derry (Please note that the Foyle Maritime Festival is a bi-annual event with the next one due to take place in 2024) • Waterside Half Marathon-Derry • Halloween Carnival Celebrations-Derry and Strabane • Christmas lights switch on and Celebrations-Derry and Strabane • St Patrick’s Day Festival Weekend-Derry and Strabane Additional public events and celebrations may be programmed on an ad hoc basis. These events may vary in nature, scale and requirements. Tenders are now invited from competent organisations for the provision of traffic management for these and any other events in accordance with the contract term. The requirements within this tender are grouped in the following Lots: Lot 1 –Festival Events Lot 2 –Sporting Events Suppliers may apply for any or all Lots. ‘TM’ referenced in this document refers to ‘Traffic Management’ Contract Term - This contract will be issued for a period of 3 years. The contract will be in two lots. Tenderers will be able to provide a tender submission for one or both lots. Tenders capability for carrying out one or both lots will be assessed on their methodology and approach to each event specification. Please refer to CfT documents for further details.
