Description

Framework Agreement for the Supply of Unlicensed Specials to members of the East Midlands Pharmacy Collaborative (EMPC). Unlicensed specials are purchased to meet the clinical needs of patients for which no suitable licensed medicine is available. Supplier(s) should be flexible to meet varying levels of demand and to respond to clinical change and development. Participating Authorities within the East Midlands lack the capacity to manufacture sufficient unlicensed specials to meet their needs. Therefore, we are seeking supplier/s who are able to offer a high-quality, cost-effective service. Purchasing Authorities will buy these products to hold as stock, to meet the anticipated future needs of their patients. These unlicensed specials will be required to be batch produced and quality assured. It is EMPC's intention to contract directly with the Manufacturer’s “Specials” Licence holder. Pre-Market Engagement meetings were held on 11th, 20th and 24th November 2025. Notes of the PME meetings are included in the Tender document set Above threshold with electronic submission and full tender documents provided when the notice has been published. The minimum tender period of 25 days has been included.
