GMCA 1769: RCC Supported Accommodation

Description

The Greater Manchester Regional Care Cooperative (RCC) hosted by Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) is introducing a new regionally coordinated approach to supported accommodation for 16 to 17 year olds transitioning out of care. Through extensive early engagement, data analysis, and market insight, the RCC has identified the need for a refreshed model of provision that better meets the needs of young people across Greater Manchester. This procurement exercise aims to establish an open framework designed to address key regional sufficiency pressures and improve outcomes and pathways for young people transitioning out of care. The RCC will adopt an approach grounded in intensive coproduction with the sector, key stakeholders, and Care Experienced Young People to genuinely codesign a service model that meets need effectively and flexibly.
