The contract enables pharmacies to dispense Varenicline, a medication design to support individuals in quitting smoking. The contracts have been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 - Direct Award Process B 9 Pharmacies have been awarded an individual contract to deliver the Varenicline service. The service will be contracted for a period of 12 months from 1st February 2026 to 31st January 2027 plus 2 x 12 month extensions. The contract value is approximately £27k over the 36 month period.
