TD1435 - For Inclusion on a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Transport Services

Description

Derby City Council is seeking to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS), of organisations able to provide Transport Services including Home-to-School, Special Education Needs and Social Care Transport. The purpose of this procurement procedure is to establish the DPS Agreement between the Council and Service Provider(s) for the provision of Transport Services. Under this Agreement, transport will be provided using Hackney Carriage, Minibus and Private Hire Vehicles. Vehicles will be of various capacities (minimum 4 seats and upwards and in accordance with current Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Legislation, or Private Hire or Hackney Carriage legislation. Round one application deadline is the 09:00 on the 29th July 2019. Applicants must meet the minimum required qualifying criteria for entry onto the DPS and maintain the requisite criteria throughout the DPS Agreement Term. There are no other restrictions on who can or cannot join the DPS and Applicants may apply to join at any time during the lifetime of the DPS as entry remains open, other than if the Council closes the DPS for any period The first tranche (round one) of Applicants will be appointed to the DPS by the 15th August 2019 and it is intended that Contract Opportunities will commence from that date.
